Can I study Spanish in Spain with a student visa?

Yes. This is a full-time, in-person postgraduate programme that is eligible for the Spanish student visa. International students admitted to the programme receive the official documentation required to support their student visa application, in accordance with Spanish immigration regulations.

Do I need prior knowledge of Spanish to apply?

No prior knowledge of Spanish is required. All applicants complete a level placement test before starting the programme, which determines their entry level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Students are then placed in the appropriate learning group.

Is this a university-accredited programme?

Yes. This is a university-accredited postgraduate qualification (título propio) delivered by Business & Language College Spain in collaboration with LAE Madrid and awarded by Universidad Europea del Atlántico. The programme follows an academic structure aligned with European higher education standards.

Who is this programme suitable for?

This programme is designed for international graduates who want to study Spanish in Spain through a structured, full-time academic programme. It is suitable for students seeking to improve their Spanish to an advanced level while studying in an immersive academic environment

What qualification do I receive after completing the programme?

Students who successfully complete the full programme receive the Master in Spanish Language and Culture (90 ECTS). Students who complete the first academic year only may receive the Diploma in Spanish Language and Culture (45 ECTS), subject to programme regulations.

Can I work while studying in Spain - how many hours?

Yes. Students enrolled in this programme may work part time while studying, in accordance with Spanish regulations for student visa holders. Any work activity must be compatible with the academic schedule and must comply with the conditions established by the Spanish authorities. Students may work up to 30 hours per week, provided that the work is authorised and compatible with their studies. This applies to both employment and internship arrangements and is subject to current immigration regulations.
